Shunil Joseph
Shunil is the founding Partner of First Arrow Executive Search a retained executive search firm. Shunil brings to the table 24 + years of search experience within the Aerospace, Intelligence, DOD, DOE, NASA, and Federal Civilian Community nationwide with a geographic focus on the Washington D.C. metro area. He has also leveraged his 24+ years of extensive federal cyber background for a focus in the commercial Cyber Security space. In addition to executive search, Shunil conducts many board searches focused on these sectors. Shunil was previously a Partner and Practice Manager with an international search firm, Thinking Ahead Executive Search (formerly Southwestern Business Resources) for 15.5 years. He was brought in to build a Federal Practice with a focus on the U.S. Intelligence Community. He has performed searches for start-ups, SI’s, R and D companies, software and hardware companies and aerospace companies.
Shunil grew up in Colorado and Iowa and has been in Nashville since 1997. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Journalism and Mass Communications degree with an emphasis in Public Relations. He and his wife Robin have three children and he enjoys following the Denver Broncos, Iowa State Cyclones and his daughters Alum, the Tennessee Volunteers. Shunil also enjoys hiking, diving, camping and traveling.

Jeremiah Johnson
Jeremiah Johnson brings over a decade and a half of headhunting experience to First Arrow Executive Search. He founded Cecil Baker, LLC in 2010, an information technology search practice in the defense and Intel arena and has successfully guided that business since. Prior to starting Cecil Baker, Jeremiah ran a successful practice with Southwestern Business Resources, an international search firm based out of Nashville, TN, for more than 8 years being one of the first to focus in cyber security and INFOSEC. His entire career has been spent centered in the Federal/Intel/DoD arena. Jeremiah represents companies that range in size from small 8a shops to multi-billion dollar international firms. His clients serve as key components to providing services for our nation’s most critical defense and military projects. His specialties are heavily geared towards advanced engineering, cyber security, data science, Cloud Architecture and software development. He also assists clients in their leadership and business development needs at the Director, EVP and C-Suite level. Although based out of Nashville, Jeremiah services clients in the DMV corridor and across the country.
Jeremiah is a native of Nashville and earned his bachelors from the University of Mississippi in Business Administration with a minor in Civil Engineering. Immediately following college Jeremiah began his search career in the Intel arena and has been growing his practice ever since. Jeremiah and his wife Ashley and son Hayes reside in the Oak Hill neighborhood of Nashville and enjoy sporting events, cooking and the opportunity for travel.
